Temple Sholom has a wide array of programming sponsored by its auxilliaries, adult education, religious school. It also has the Shalom Bayit committee, which is designed to make everyone feel comfortable and included by designing specific programming and initiatives. More recent programs include:
GPS (Going Places with Sholom) is a group dedicated to enjoying weekday activities together and which has a monthly program. GPS offers trips to local venues like museums, HUC, the zoo, usually with docent led tours and also an occasional overnight trip, including a recent trip to Cleveland to visit the Maltz museum and other sites. We also have a brown bag lunch series with local speakers.
Progressive Dinner, where congregants meet for appetizers, dinner, and desserts at each other house.
Temple Sholom's Interfaith Committee reaches out and programs for people with interfaith extended families. We seek to provide an atmosphere of openness, a network of friends, programming, and a support system for all to feel comfortable as part of our Temple Sholom community and the greater Cincinnati Jewish community.
We are also pleased to announced our new "Open Dor" program for young professionals, which will be led by Rabbi Dellal. This will include intergenerational worship, programming, and young professional programming, such as "Baby and Me".
