Lifelong Learning at Sholom
Explore. Question. Discover.
At Temple Sholom, Jewish learning is a lifelong journey. From a child’s first experiences with Jewish holidays and traditions to adults exploring their own Jewish identities, we believe there is always something new to discover, questions to explore, and connections to make.

Our approach to education goes beyond the classroom. We create opportunities for individuals and families to experience Judaism in ways that are engaging, personal, and meaningful to their lives. Through learning, music, prayer, celebration, and shared experiences, we help each generation build a deeper connection to Jewish tradition, values, and community.

Whether you are raising a Jewish family, reconnecting with your heritage, exploring Judaism for the first time, or continuing a lifelong journey of discovery, there is a place for you at Temple Sholom.

Jewish Learning for Our Youngest Generations
A foundation for a lifetime of connection.

Our Religious School provides a welcoming, engaging environment where children can explore their Jewish heritage, build friendships, and discover the values and traditions that shape Jewish life.

We recognize that every student brings unique interests, experiences, and learning styles. Our educators encourage curiosity, creativity, and participation, helping students make Judaism their own and understand how Jewish values can guide their everyday lives.

Throughout the school year, students explore Jewish holidays, customs, traditions, Hebrew, prayer, and Jewish values through meaningful activities and shared experiences. Learning extends beyond the classroom, bringing generations together and connecting families to the rhythms of Jewish life.
Learning Together as a Community
Jewish education is more meaningful when we experience it together.

On Sunday mornings, from September through April, our Religious School community gathers for a blend of prayer, song, learning, and fun. These shared experiences help children develop a sense of belonging while building relationships with their peers, teachers, and the wider Temple community.

Our dedicated teaching team includes adult educators and high school students who share their time, talents, and commitment to Jewish life. By learning across generations, our students see that Jewish identity continues to grow and evolve throughout our lives.

We partner with Sholom Learning and Online Jewish Learning to support our Jewish values and Hebrew curricula. Our educators also bring creativity and flexibility to the classroom, incorporating additional resources, hands-on activities, and fresh approaches that respond to the needs and interests of our learners.

Lifelong Learning for Every Age and Stage
There is always more to explore.

Jewish learning does not end with Religious School or a B’nai Mitzvah. At Temple Sholom, we believe every stage of life offers new opportunities to deepen our understanding, strengthen our connections, and find meaning in Jewish tradition.

We welcome adults who want to expand their knowledge, reconnect with Judaism, explore Jewish texts and values, or discover new ways to bring Jewish wisdom into their lives. We also celebrate the learning that happens naturally when people of different ages and backgrounds share their stories, questions, and experiences.

Whether you are taking your first steps into Jewish learning or have spent a lifetime studying and practicing Judaism, your curiosity is welcome here.

At Temple Sholom, lifelong learning is about more than gaining knowledge. It is about building relationships, asking meaningful questions, discovering purpose, and finding your place in a community that continues to learn and grow together.
Your Jewish Journey Has a Place Here
At Temple Sholom, we believe Judaism thrives when everyone has the opportunity to learn, participate, and belong. We welcome individuals and families at every point in their Jewish journey, including multifaith families, seekers, and those who are simply curious about what Jewish life can offer.
